People Died, Obama Lied
Fox News is reporting that the Obama administration knew within 24 hours of the attacks in Benghazhi that the attacks were pre-planned terrorist attacks. The attacks on the American embassy in Benghazhi on September 11 led to the deaths of Ambassador Chris Stevens and other American personnel.
For the week following the death of Ambassador Chris Stevens, the Obama administration repeatedly claimed that the attacks were from a spontaneous demonstration that spun out of control despite having evidence to the contrary. On the Sunday following the attack, the Obama administration sent UN Ambassador Susan Rice to five different Sunday talk shows to claim that the attacks and the death of Ambassador Chris Stevens sprang from spontaneous demonstrations.
According to the The Daily Beast story:
U.S. intelligence officials knew within 24 hours of the assault on the U.S. Consulate in Libya that it was a terrorist attack and suspected Al Qaeda-tied elements were involved, sources told Fox News — though it took the administration a week to acknowledge it.
The account conflicts with claims on the Sunday after the attack by U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice that the administration believed the strike was a “spontaneous” event triggered by protests in Egypt over an anti-Islam film.”
HotAir is reporting that even before the Fox News story, Jim DeMint called for a complete investigation into the White House’s “misleading” statements.
Predictably, the news that the Obama administration knew the attacks in Benghazi were pre-planned and deliberately mislead the American people isn’t making headlines on most major media outlets. Sadly, due to media bias and their reluctance to publish stories that cast Obama in a bad light, many Americans will be voting without a complete picture of the Obama administration.
